COMPLIANCE
HOLY CROSS, SACRED HEART & ST. MARY’S
The process to be in compliance with Holy Cross, Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s Mission is as follows:
Step 1 – A volunteer application must first be submitted under the volunteer selection of the parish you wish to volunteer for Go to:

NOTE: Holy Cross and Sacred Heart are two separate entities – which means we do not fall under each other.
St. Mary’s does fall under Sacred Heart so if you applied for Sacred Heart, you have also applied for St. Mary’s. If you want to volunteer at both Holy Cross and Sacred Heart churches you must submit an application for both.
Step 2 – While filing out the application please be aware that you cannot use family members as references.
Step 3 - Compliance officer of which church you applied for will then process the application and check on your references. Compliance officer will contact you to explain the process. You will be asked to submit a fingerprint card. Sacred Heart has a fingerprint set up, so fingerprints can be done at no charge for both parishes. Compliance officers will set up an appointment for any fingerprints needed.
Step 4 – Once paperwork is processed, the applicant should receive an email from the diocese of Tucson with instructions regarding how to set up an account and complete the CMG Safety Program.
We ask that you please do not create an account in CMG before you have submitted an application and receiving an email from the Diocese of Tucson.
If you have applied for volunteer at both churches, you will need to create two separate CMG accounts. Please go through the training in ONE parish first. Once you have gone through the CMG training in one Parish you need not go through the training part again. Just notify the compliance officer under that second church and make them aware that you have completed the training. Compliance officer will then contact the Diocese of Tucson to process a copy of the training over to the second church.
The length of time to process the application can take months to process if you or your references cannot be reached. So we kindly ask that when we call please answer or return our calls. Please ask your references to do the same. Applications will expire in 6 months so if we cannot reach you or a reference you may have to resubmit the application.
